In the Shop : Kathleen + John's Production
A few weekends ago I was in the shop printing up programs, place cards, coasters, and mementos for Kathleen and John's nautical themed wedding. When Kathleen first contacted me she explained the venue as classy & intimate, with smashing views of NYC across the Hudson. Epic, right? Not long into the design process, she sent me an email asking about using two seagulls as a graphic element in the programs. We tossed around some ideas, and then it dawned on us--how cool would it be to feature the illustrative talents of her brother, Matt, in the design? Not long after that conversation Matt emailed me a sketch, and voila! We were able to pull in a really personal touch that gave all of their goodies an even greater sentimental value. I am beyond thrilled with how their items turned out!
